Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actor from Australia. Cornish is most well-known for her films roles, including Heidi in Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) and for her role with director Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Cornish received the first Screen Actors Guild Award in the ensemble cast for this film. Jack Gilpin starred in Adventureland, (2009) while Ann McDonough was in The Mothman Prophecies and other films. Betty Gilpin made a decision to go into acting because she had the support and affection of her parents. When it came time to enroll in college she chose Fordham College where she learned how to perfect her craft. After graduating, Gilpin began acting in Off-Broadway shows while auditioning for film and TV roles. Gilpin landed a small role in Ghost Town 2008 and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Also, she was a part of NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent between 2001 and 2011. Gilpin was able to land TV guest appearances throughout the years. Her first big break was in 2013, when she was picked to be the main character in the series Nurse Jackie. Gilpin, playing Carrie Roman Gilpin, as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, played in 34 episodes on Nurse Jackie until the series ended on June 15, 2015. Gilpin appeared the same year on True Story, a mystery thriller.
