The most famous of her roles is playing Marina Cooper in the Guiding Light soap opera and Marcy in the TV show Dawson's Creek. Mary Louise Parker was featured in two episodes from the Showtime show Weeds. The show was titled Judy Kramer, a Fox series from 2005 and Marcy Bender in Dawson's Creek. In the Guiding Light soap production, she was Marina Cooper. This role brought her an award nomination by Soap Opera Digest in 2003 for Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar appeared as Cindy Thomas in the ABC series Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. Dollar was a part of the 2012 NBC Pilot Happy Valley which was not taken up.
